President Joko Widodo signed President Regulation Number 76 of 2024 regarding Land Allocation for Investment Arrangement. The regulation allowed distribution of any revoked mining business permits (IUP) to religious organizations, including regional-owned enterprises, village-owned enterprises, and cooperatives.
Nevertheless, the said organizations had to fulfil the criteria that were required in the business permit and have an organ to carry out economic activities, which purpose was to empower members’ economy and people’s welfare. (Further reading)

The Regional House of Representatives of Central Kalimantan Province and the government of Province had entered into a mutual agreement on four bills of regulation to be passed further to become regional regulations.
The four bills included 1) amendment on legal entity of Perseroan Terbatas Bank Pembangunan Daerah Kalteng to become Perusahaan Perseroan Daerah Bank Kalteng, 2) amendment on legal entity of Perseroan Terbatas Penjaminan Kredit Daerah Kalteng to become Perusahaan Perseroan Daerah Penjaminan Kredit Daerah Kalteng, 3) amendment on legal entity of Perusahaan Daerah Banama Tingang Makmur to become Perusahaan Perseroan Daerah Banama Tingang Makmur, and 4) Regional Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPD) of Central Kalimantan Province 2025-2045. In order to optimize implementation of Online Single Submission-Risk-Based Approach (OSS-RBA), Investment and One-Stop Service Agency of Central Kalimantan Province held dissemination and technical assistance on OSS-RBA implementation for business actors on 25-26 July 2024 on Palangka Raya.
The capacity improvement for business actors on OSS-RBA was expected to accelerate business implementation and boost investment realization in Central Kalimantan. (Further reading)
